Mixed Martial Arts (MMA), as popularised by The Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC), has revolutionised the modern martial arts world and is the fastest growing combat sport in the world.
This course is designed for complete beginners in MMA. It is a step-by-step introduction to the basics of the sport, the perfect stepping stone for beginning your martial arts journey.
Over the 6 week course you will find out more about what MMA is, learn effective techniques from each of the ranges which make up a complete MMA fighters skill set, discover the secrets of how fighters train for competition and improve fitness. All done in a small group led by an experienced MMA coach.

Age Restriction: Adults only, 16+
Equipment Required: Please wear regular sportswear such as shorts and a t-shirt for training. No zipped hoodies or jewllery. All equipment for this course will be provided by the academy however you are welcome to use your own if you have it. We have a shop on site for anyone wishing to purchase their own kit and we also recommend men invest in a groin guard before starting training.
