Karsten Wins Title and Mahmood Wins MMA Debut at Clash of Warriors 8

Two more students training at Leicester Shootfighters won fights on Saturday, this time at Clash of Warriors 8: Battleground held at the Victoria Leisure Centre in Nottingham.

Mahmood Besharate put on an excellent display in his MMA debut stopping the very tough Irish fighter Bernard McGuigan with low kicks in the 2nd round.

In a co-main event, Karsten Lenjoint took the Clash of Warriors British Featherweight title buy defeating Jurjis Karpenko by tap out due to strikes in the first round.

Both fighters put in excellent performances and it was an honour to corner and work with them. Congratulations from all at the gym.
